Last weekend we bought a new car. We could finally get rid of our GM credit card after we redeemed all the points that we’ve been accumulated for so long. Once I forgot to pay our credit card and it was only one day late. I couldn’t believe they still insisted to charge us the late fee after Dave talked to their customer service on the phone. We had very good records paying off the card every month. We were never late except that ONCE when I was in charge of paying bills. !@##$%%^ They knew that we were not going to cancel the card since we had so many points in that card and definitely would use it when we buy our next GM car. Well, now we can cancel the card and will never use it again.
Back to the new car, it’s a Chevy Malibu, mid-size sedan. Dave is driving it. We traded-in my car, and I drive Dave’s old car. Both of our cars are 10 years old. However, I was glad that we got rid of my car. It was a second hand car and I never really liked it ever since we bought it. We didn’t get the full value that’s guaranteed on the ads because the dealer ran an Auto Check on it and found a car accident report. We were surprised to see the report because we didn’t know about it when we bought it from the GM certified dealer. Well, that explained why I never feel comfortable driving it. Now I feel more comfortable driving Dave’s old car because he bought it brand new and we knew all the history about the car. Hopefully, the confidence I have in the car will help me drive on highway more often now.
